How to get to Sedgemoor Heights
Getting to Sedgemoor Heights is easy. Underneath the map are some easy to follow directions. Those travelling by car have off road parking at the front of the main house.
Sedgemoor Heights is also very close to the town centre. It is a 10 minute walk from the railway/coach station.

DIRECTIONS FROM ST AUSTELL RAIL/COACH/BUS STATION
The house is a 10-minute walk away from the train and bus stations. [Instructions are from the DOWN line [the “modern” station building platform.] Turn left out of the station with the rail track on your left. When you reach the public road, turn right, down-hill. At the bottom turn right in front of the parish church. Walk through the pedestrianised Fore Street until you reach the main road. Bear to the right.. You are now in Bodmin Road. Cross the road leading to the short-term car park and passed St John’s Methodist Church on your right. [Please don’t call at Sedgemoor House.] We are approx. 150 yards further up the hill on the right, round a shallow right hand bend. Look for the number 46 on the gatepost and the large SEDGEMOOR HEIGHTS BED & BREAKFAST sign. Walk across our car park up to the house.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE A 30 TRAVELLING WEST
Follow the M5 to Exeter, then pick up the A30. Follow A30 to the Innis Downs junction. Take exit left, sign-posted A391, St Austell.. Follow the A391, through Bugle and Stenalees, until you reach the next roundabout, approx. 5 milesTake the second exit off this roundabout onto the B3274, sign-posted Carthew and Clay Museum. [Ignore the sign A391 to St Austell at this point].
Follow the B3274. Pass the Clay Museum on the right. 1.6 miles further on , you go under a huge viaduct. Our house is approx. 400 yards further, on the left. Look out for the large BED & BREAKFAST SEDGEMOOR HEIGHTS sign. [If you can, pull passed the car park entrance and reverse into the car park.] Park as near to, or as far away from the house as you can, whichever is easier. Don't park in the middle! After parking, walk up steps, ring bell to right of front door.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE A390 TRAVELLING WEST
Follow the A390 until you reach the double roundabout by McDonald’s drive-in burger bar on the left-hand side as you approach the roundabout. Move into the right hand lane and turn right towards the town centre.
Follow the road up hill to the next mini roundabout. Take the first exit left. Follow the road. At the next T-junction, with Sports World directly in front of you, turn right. The road bends sharply left. Look for the short-term public car park and St John’s Methodist Church on the right.
After the car park entrance, the road curves gently to the right. Sedgemoor Heights is approx. 150 yards further up the hill, round a shallow right bend, on the right. The house is very yellow! Look out for the large Bed and Breakfast, Sedgemoor Heights sign. Pull into the drive in front of the property. [If you can, pull across the road and reverse into the car park.] Park either as near to the house as you can, or as far away, whichever is easier. Don't park in the middle! After parking, ring the bell to right of front door.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE A390 TRAVELLING EAST
Follow the A390 from Truro towards St Austell. As you approach St Austell down the steep hill at St Mewan, branch off left, sign posted Town Centre and Newquay. Almost immediately you reach a set of traffic lights. Go straight on. After a few hundred yards you reach another set of traffic lights. Go straight on again.After a few hundred yards, just after you reach Sports World on the left, the road takes a very sharp turn left. Follow the road. You are now in Bodmin Road.
Follow the road. Look for the short-term car park entrance on the right. Sedgemoor Heights is approx. 200 yards passed the car park on the right hand side. Look out for the big gold and black BED & BREAKFAST sign. The house is very yellow! [If you can, pull across the road and reverse into the car park.] Park either, as near to, or, as far from the house as possible. Don't park in the middle! Walk up the steps.
