All rooms are ensuite and have Freeview digital reception TV and tea & coffee making facilities. If you join us in the winter months, all rooms are centrally heated, separate from the main house.
Our room names are inspired by the house’s history. 46 Bodmin Road is a large townhouse which was built for the rich industrialists of St. Austell in 1820. The servant’s quarters have been thoughtfully renovated to provide our guests with a comfortable stay whilst retaining many of the original features.

Guests have their own private entrance through the fully enclosed, Mediterranean style courtyard. A picnic table is provided for guests' use

Breakfast is served in the bright, elegant dining room of the main house
Chat to the other guests over a sumptuous cooked breakfast whilst admiring the view over the Gover Valley
First Floor Landing
The landing area at the top of the stairs separates the Maid’s Room and The Nursery.
It has an original fireplace as well as a games table and a place to contribute to the pets picture gallery!
The "Wash House"
The
old Wash House situated away from the main house in the courtyard has been renovated into a relaxing
'outside sitting room'. Smokers can indulge themselves in here if it’s cold and/or wet! Ashtrays and a heater are provided.
